The Door offers the Triple P Positive Parenting Program; an internationally accredited, nine week, group-based course. Delivered by a fully trained facilitator, Triple P offers both practical help and strategies for parenting teenagers. Courses are run during the daytime and evenings throughout the year.  To find out more about our next course and to register your interest simply complete and return an application form.

“It was so lovely to know we weren’t ‘on our own’. We are so grateful for all The Door has done for us.”

Parent Connections meets twice a month, a day time meeting runs 10am-12pm on the 2nd  Friday and an evening group meets 7-9pm on the fourth Wednesday. These groups are here to give you a space to get together, take some time for yourself and connect with others.  Instead of judgement we offer kindness. Instead of blame we encourage support and friendship. We learn such a lot from each other and benefit from the strength that is generated within a group, sharing encouragement and helping you feel less alone in your struggle.

If you would like to join us at our monthly meetings all we ask is that we have a chat beforehand. Either call 01453 756745 or drop us an email with your details and we will call you.

“Its so nice to just get out and chill."

Dads can often feel overlooked and we offer a safe and relaxed space to come together to share and to support each other.  You are not alone and this group will give you time to unwind and talk through the stresses that life (and teenagers) can bring. Dads @ The Door meet at The Door on the last Thursday evening of every month from 7-9pm and usually share in a meal during the evening.
