The Door values your right to privacy.

Your personal data will be stored and processed for the purposes for which you have consented.

If you have subscribed to receiving emails from us, your personal data will be used to keep you informed about The Door’s activities, including sending you periodic newsletters and details of events and volunteering and fundraising opportunities.  You may use the link in these emails to unsubscribe at any time.

Service users’ personal data may be also be used on an aggregated and anonymised basis for the purposes of monitoring and improving The Door’s services (for example, analysing home locations of youth club attendees by postcode).

The Door will not share your personal data with any third party without your consent unless there is an overriding legal obligation to do so or there is a risk to personal safety.

You have the right to

  • Request access to your personal data
  • Request rectification if any of your personal data are incorrect
  • Withdraw consent for the storing and processing of your personal data
  • Request permanent removal of your personal data from The Door’s systems.

Handling of referrals as part of the Gloucestershire Mentoring Programme (GMP) collaborative project: 

If The Door receives a referral where their team considers that it would be more appropriate for another of the project's providers to give support, they will gain consent to pass this referral onto one of the 6 other trusted partner providers as listed below.

The GMP providers are:

  • Breathe Youth
  • WAM
  • 1625IP
  • Thames Valley Partnership
  • The Nelson Trust
  • Young Gloucestershire

Handling of referrals from Primary Care Networks

If The Door receives a referral which it considers would be better supported by another of this project's providers, it will seek consent to pass this referral onto them.

The other support providers are:

  • Cotswold Counselling
  • Teens in Crisis
