How Zoom Calls work: - You will receive a booking confirmation email ahead of the call. - Your chosen mentor will contact you directly at the time you have booked. - To make the most of your time slot the mentor will have access to full details of any previous chats. - The Door team are there to listen, discuss the issues you want to raise and help you make positive choices. They will not be there to tell you what to do, but to help you reach your own decisions. - The team will be calling your for the sole purpose of a pre-booked chat. Please do not use these details to contact the team outside your allocated time. Instead please give them a call on 01453 756745. I understand that in making use of this chat service, I agree to the following terms: - That these zoom calls are available only for young people aged 11-25 and that they will last up to 15 minutes each time. - I will be prepared for the call/video chat and find a quiet place where I will not be disturbed - If I have opted for video chat I will ensure that I have setup zoom on my phone or laptop beforehand where possible. (Download from - I will decide before-hand what I want to talk about. - If I am not in a position to make the most of the call or I cannot attend I will let The Door know as soon as possible. - If two or more calls are missed without explanation The Door reserve the right to suspend the service. - I will be respectful to all staff and volunteers. - I will ensure I am not under the influence of any alcohol or drugs when I am expecting the call. - I am aware that use of explicit or swear words are not permitted and the youth worker reserves the right to end the call if warnings are ignored. - What is talked about is confidential, but I understand there are times when the mentor will have to share the information that has been discussed should there the chat give them cause for concern. If this is the case and should they need to record all or part of the call, the mentor will make me aware. - I understand that if I am feeling extremely distress or feel you are in danger of hurting myself, I will not wait for my call but immediately call the Samaritans on 116 123 or the Police on 999.
