Answers to prayer…
The illuminateStroud team had a great day out at the TRAC adventure centre with a group of young people, lots of fun and great conversations were had throughout the day.
We have a new potential indoor venue for our parent groups.
We received some funding for Family Support this week. Praise God!
This month we are joining the rest of the world in praying for those affected by the Coronavirus Pandemic. Please join us in praying for healing and recovery, for wisdom and guidance for leaders, for energy and rest for those on the front line and for peace for those suffering loss.
- Today please pray for all the young people that are returning to school. Whether excited or anxious please pray that they will be able to settle in and reengage with their studies.
- Please pray also for peace for their parents, whether concerned or pleased to send their children to school.
- And finally please pray for school staff, for patience and protection as the new school year begins.
Thursday 3rd September
Today please pray for the youthwork team as they seek to continue to success of sessions over the summer into term time.
Friday 4th September
Please pray for guidance and wisdom for the family support team as they set about making plans for delivering volunteer training later this year. For inspiration and innovation for new ways of working.
Saturday 5th September
Today please pray for a successful restart of illuminateStroud activities for the start of the new term. For both the Christian Union and Engine Room.
Sunday 6th September
Today please continue to pray for those returning to education, especially for those changing schools or stepping up to new things. Please pray for a smooth transition into the new school year.
