Answers to prayer…
Our telephone mentoring has picked up and is going really well, we are now making around 6 successful calls each week.
Last week we refurbished the Pod in Stonehouse, our young people and Marks and Spencers volunteers have all done an amazing job!
We have received lots of praise for our mentoring training course and how useful the content is.
This week’s prayer points…
Monday 10th June
Door Step; our new programme supporting young people as they move from primary to secondary school launches today, please pray for the right applicants to come forward.
Tuesday 11th June
Today please pray for the continued strength of our relationship with Archway school as the schools makes some important steps and changes in how we work together.
Wednesday 12th June
Today please pray for guidance and wisdom for the fundraising team as they prioritise which trusts to apply to this month.
Thursday 13th June
Please pray for all the new mentoring relationships that are starting at the moment, that mentors and mentees will be a great fit for each other.
Friday 14th June
Today please continue to pray for young people taking exams as they reach the half way point in the season. For perseverance, confidence and energy.
Saturday 15th June
Please pray that we will have a successful street collection in Stonehouse today and spread the word about The Door in that community.
Sunday 16th June
Today please pray for Engine Room taking place at St Laurence Church, please pray that young people will come together to worship, pray and begin to change their school cultures for the better.
