Even though it's been cold and dark January has been full of light and fun at The Door with young people learning all about healthy eating, keeping active and engaging with worthwhile activities. Here's just some of what the team have been up to.

Firstly to Avening where the young people are always full of plenty of energy, they have enjoyed games of dodgeball as well as creating outfits to make themselves look like their favourite fruit or vegetable - even a potato!

Also in Avening they hosted a Bush Tucker trial evening with lots of yummy (and not so yummy!) foods to try from Avocado to Courgette and figs to coconut water. They have also been getting to grips with new flavours in Dursley with Pizza Night at The Vibe.

Also in Dursley young people have got stuck in with some music making and a skittle night

Down the road in Cam, young people have enjoyed getting back outside with some hockey in the yard as well as an uno tournament when the weather wasn't quite so warm.

And finally over in Stroud they have been getting creative with Loom bands making a comeback for bracelet making as well as custom puzzles with positive messages. Stroud also hosted a Saturday Dance off, proving exercise can sometimes be fun too!
