Christmas Presence returns for 2017
The Door Youth Project is pleased to announce the return of the much loved Charity Christmas Concert, Christmas Presence.
Thursday 14th December, 7:30pm at Holy Trinity Church, Stroud.
Starring local performers; The Stroud Light Music Choir, Megan Strachan, Becky Elliott and Gemma Cornelius with guest soloist Tazmin Barnes.
The performers will be accompanied by a string quartet from the Stroud Symphony Orchestra and pianist Matthew Sharp.
As well as enjoying the soloists and choir there will be an opportunity to join in with traditional sing along Christmas Carols making Christmas Presence the perfect way to get into the Christmas Spirit and kick start your festivities.
Money raised by the concert will go towards supporting local charity The Door Youth Project which supports young people aged 11-25 and their families throughout the Stroud District.
With thanks to TSB Stroud and Panacea for sponsoring the evening.
Anne Townsend Community Fundraiser for the Door said
“Christmas Presence is one of the real highlights in the Door’s calendar, it’s always a lovely evening and great to see many of our supporters come together around Christmas.
We are really excited to have such a variety of performers at this year’s concert from Opera to Disney, classic carols and film tunes. There is sure to be something for everyone to enjoy. We are also especially pleased to welcome Tazmin Barnes back to Stroud for a second year following her success supporting Mary-Jess at Christmas Presence 2016.
Furthermore we would like to say big thank you to TSB Stroud and Panacea for their continued support and sponsorship.”
