The weather was against us on December 10th but as always our amazing team of fundraising volunteers came through. With over 20 volunteers out and about in Stroud over 3 hours you couldn’t miss us especially those in their ‘festive’ outfits or those with colourful umbrellas. In spite of the weather the public proved as generous as ever donating over £700 towards the work of The Door which is yet another record breaking collection!

Thankyou to everyone that volunteered and battled with the elements, to Merrywalks and Brunel Mall for allowing us to collect on their premises and last but not least a big thank you to all that donated.

The funds raised will enable The Door to unlock potential and open opportunities for young people and families across Stroud when and where they need us most.

Staying at home in Social Isolation is taking its toll on all of us. Whether you’re a young person struggling with learning at home and missing your friends or a parent trying to juggle the demands of working from home and educating your children, The Door understands where you’re coming from.

We are the leading youth charity in Stroud with nearly 30 years experience of supporting young people and their families when times get tough. One of our highly skilled professionals is there for you.
