Between 2002 and 2014 The Door ran The Undiscovered Youth Talent Contest, providing an opportunity for young people to express themselves through performing. Encouraging and developing talent for those who might not normally have had the chance.

Undiscovered Youth became a well known part of the Stroud social calendar and played a key part in The Door’s fundraising so to start our 25th Anniversary celebrations in style we enlisted the help of past finalists; Ventriloquist Kieran Powell and Singers Elyse, Andy (Bro) Yerbury and Harry Jones to return for a ‘One Night Only’ reunion concert back at the Stroud Subscription Rooms (where it all started almost 15 years ago).

The evening was a great success and it was amazing to see just how far the performers have come since their respective finals. Kieran is touring the world on Cruise Ships, Elyse and Andy have EPs available and Harry is working on his.

Not only was it an evening of great entertainment and an opportunity to catch up with the performers, the Reunion Concert Raised over £300 for the work of The Door, made possible by a generous donation towards costs from The Keith Jefferies Foundation

The Fundraising team would like to thank all the performers, New Day, Ian Sadler, The Keith Jefferies Foundation and the wonderful audience for making this event possible!
