Work Experience At The Door

Holly, who is currently a Year 12 student at Stroud High School, has been doing Work Experience at The Door once a week on Wednesdays since Feburary. Here is what she’s been up to:

“I have been working in Tranzform, helping with many aspects of running the charity shop. I have learnt how to use a till, price, label and organise stock. I have particularly enjoyed serving the customers. I have also been working in the office doing admin, learning how to do a range of tasks such as using the laminator and organising the downstairs cupboard.”

“The experience has been enjoyable and engaging, it has given me an insight into the workplace and what they do at The Door, it has been a brilliant experience”
