The Door Shop is at the top of Stroud High Street and sells everything from donated clothes, children’s toys and furniture to items Hand Made at The Door and a great selection of new goods.

Donate Stock

Please bring your donations straight to our shop on the High Street, if you have a car load and need  to park nearby you can use the layby (bus stop) outside the Police Station, Church Street carpark or Parliament Street carpark.

We Accept:

  • Adults and Children’s Clothes
  • Jewellery
  • Bags
  • Shoes
  • Toys
  • Crockery and other bric a brac
  • Small furniture
  • Linen and Soft Furnishings
  • DVD’s, CD’s and Computer games.

We Cannot Accept:

  • Cutlery/Knives
  • Large Electrical items including old TV sets, Old computers, Printers and electrical fires
  • Duvets and Pillows
  • Videos or cassette tapes
  • Any Electrical Items that require to be ‘plugged in’
  • Car seats and other safety items such as Riding helmets.

 Recycling

You can also donate unwanted or less than perfect bedding, clothes, bags and shoes and we can re-home or recycle them for you. We also collect Mobile phones, foreign and obsolete currency for recycling.

Volunteering Opportunities

Could you spare a morning or afternoon each week to help out in The Door Shop? There are a variety of tasks involved in keeping the shop up and running including hanging, steaming, stocking the shelves/rails, displays and of course till work. If you are interested in helping out in the shop please download an Application Form and bring it into the shop.
